Recently some people I +watch leave dA or taking a break. I do understand them since I was in the same boat for years. Going hermit mode is nice and useful sometimes. You'll reconnect with your inner self, find your goals, got an enlightment and so on. But the thing is you guys just didn't realize how much the community benefits you when you share your passion.
I put my best effort into each piece and enjoy the feedback no matter the scope. Even if there are just a few comments, someone will say something that makes me nod and smile. Sometimes it turns into nice conversation or rave chat. I love it. And I won't be able to experience it if I'm out.
The community around you is your reflection actually. If you share joy, happiness and excitement in your works, boy you'll be amazed how wonderful the community is. Think of chain reaction - you spread a small impulse that turns into a massive wave.
The choice is always up to you, just keep in mind that you're not alone. Don't retain your passion for yourself only, share it!

Eclipse vs Classic
First off, I assume DA staff is a professional team and their decisions are based on solid data, design skills and knowledge, understanding trends and community needs. In short, they know what they do. In contrast, agnidevi (https://www.deviantart.com/agnidevi) is just a random dude who happens to use DA for sharing his scribbles, enjoying art and community interaction.
As I understand, DA wants ‘to bring back the big fish’ – professionals, content creators, influencers by providing an appealing modern look and feel, easy to use UI and awesome features. These are good and reasonable intentions. And who the heck would oppose that?
So let’s see how it
Shine | Prover music video
I know everybody has different preferences, but I'd like to share some things I've stumbled upon recently. ;)
「Shine」theme song performed by Leo Ieiri (家入レオ) from Fuji TV drama "The Frog Princess" (カエルの王女さま) aired in 2012:
In contrast,「Prover」by milet have a different vibe with great vocals and performance (and fits pretty well as Babylonia's ED Theme):
Though I'm not a big fan of Russian covers, this K/DA - POP/STARS cover by Sati Akura nail it perfectly:
Sugaan Essena - The Hu Music Video
Well, can you imagine hearing this in Star Wars universe? Awesome mix of throat singing and rock music performed by Mongolian band The Hu.
