Rainbow Dreams: Selenaby *agnidevi

Selena is one of the main protagonists of Rainbow Dreams story. Originally she was born on a tropical island archipelago in the elven tribe. Her current age is 150-160 years, and for elven standards she is still a pup (in this context, means a teenager), which however doesn't prevent her to be the captain of Sarkan - the fastest skyship across the known continent.

Selena has an impulsive and explosive nature so sometimes she's hard time dealing with merchants and nobility (in contrast to the majority of fantasy tales, Selena isn't a kewl skypirate and make their living entirely legal ways). You can see how her homeland looks like - lush islands, lots of water and colorful sky.

The Rainbow world is different from Earth's, it's atmosphere and sun radiation has different spectral properties thus the skycolors are varied like rainbow creating various optical effects like rings or streaks. There are masses of land floating deep in the sky creating rings around the planet. Some of them have quite a low altitude and can be reached by skyships while others orbiting the planet in space as well as a few moons visible by day and night.
